A win last night would not have been enough, as Sweden equalised with Denmark late on in the other game of the group, so making it impossible for Italy to qualify. Frankly, I don't believe the Danish goalie dropped the ball by accident, he almost gave it to the Swede. Absolute disgrace.

Italy were great v Bulgaria, so daring and the winning goal was outstanding. But as ever they left it too late, they are too tactical and have been punished yet again.
